You can buy Surviving the Peace directly from the publisher, Vanderbilt University Press.

There are, of course, many other outlets, but why not buy from the source?

The only outlet I'd prefer people avoid is Amazon; see below for background.

Amazon's presence in Seattle has really struck our local economy, contributing to gentrification and engaging in some very unpleasant activities. For example, in the November 2019 elections Amazon poured $1.5 million into campaigns in Seattle that supported corporate-friendly candidates. Fortunately, that effort backfired.

Here are some other details about the company:
Amazon develops and promotes facial recognition software, a massive threat to everyone's civil liberties.

Amazon promotes home security systems that share information with police departments and that have not been proven to be safe from hacking.

Amazon web services host Department of Homeland Security databases that help the department track and arrest immigrants.

Amazon collaborates with the data mining company Palantir to facilitate the operations of ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency which, under the current president, has been separating immigrant children from their parents and jailing them by the hundreds.

Amazon bought Whole Foods and works to prevent employees from creating a union.

While the owner of Amazon is one of the richest men in the world, in 2019 he slashed health benefits for part-time workers at Whole Foods.

Amazon drives small businesses to extinction.

Amazon does all these things, and more.
I wrote this book because I care about human rights.
So if you care too, please don't patronize Amazon!
